“Fine turf” with no ryegrass can be high maintenance. So, unless you are an enthusiastic lawn lover, fine turf is not the best garden turf.
Then, check reviews. How have other people got on with a particular product or supplier? …….And do try to buy direct from the grower – your turf will be fresher.
If you are buying from a retailer – be sure that your turf has been delivered that day. Old turf never makes good garden turf.
