Lets Build A Garden – Construction. So far – we’ve looked at an audit, your inspiration, the design and the creation of a brief. Now – what about construction? What needs to go into the construction pack? Moreover, what are you actually going to need to build a garden?

Lets build a garden – the construction pack:

The construction pack is quite simply all the things you will need for a major garden project. From topsoil, turf boards and turf. Then, it may be wildflower turf or a new green roof. In addition for hard landscaping areas you may be looking at composite or treated decking. And then there is the fertilizer to make your garden grow and the tools to make it a bit easier. So that list will include gloves, secateurs, loppers, trowel, spade, garden fork, fencing and a good rake.

On one hand for watering and breaking up the soil you will need a hoe, garden hose, watering can, wheelbarrow, seeds or young plants plus the compost and mulch to give them a good start.

On the other hand there is the soil-tilling equipment and hard landscaping materials.
