When things don’t go according to plan – How to change the delivery day for your turf

At Turf Online we pride ourselves on the level of customer care we offer. But we know that things don’t always go to plan – especially where the British weather is concerned!

Turf Online have been servicing UK gardeners and landscapers with quality turf since the 1960’s. The company has been successful because we understand what the landscape industry needs and we pride ourselves on good customer service.

Over half a century later we may have more up to date harvesting machinery, but our ethos hasn’t changed.

So if you find that you’re not going to be ready to receive your turf on the day you’ve asked to have it delivered, we’ll do our utmost to be flexible.

If you need to change quantities or delivery days

Simply phone us up. A call means you can speak to a real person and know for certain what has been arranged.

Our office is open from 7am – 5pm every weekday (except bank holidays) and there’ll be somebody on hand to help you. At all other times, the answer phone will be on – you can leave us a message.

If you’re unable to phone, please drop us an email via our contact page and we’ll reply as soon as possible.

When things don’t go according to plan – Please give us plenty of notice

Please call us as soon as you know there’s a problem. Maybe the landscapers can’t get to you on the allotted day, or perhaps the weather forecast is awful. It may even be the soil won’t be prepared in time. Whatever the reason, the more notice you give us, the easier it is for us to help you without any of us incurring any costs.

If you turf has already been despatched

TurfOnline only ever cuts turf to order. Your turf will be harvested especially for you on the day before it’s due to be delivered. Then it will be loaded onto a lorry and be driven to you – along with the deliveries for turf buyers in your area.

If you leave it until the last minute to try to change your order – you’ll probably be too late. Your turf will already have left the farm and be well on its way to you. As much as we’d like to help you, in these circumstances, we just can’t, its too late.
