What is what3words?

What 3 words is a really simple way of pinpointing an exact location. The entire planet has been split up into 3m x 3m squares and each one of these has been allocated a unique 3 word address that will never change. Millions of people across the world are using 3 word addresses to find, share and describe places faster and more easily – from festival-goers and travellers to delivery drivers, event organisers and postal services.

Many rural or newly built properties struggle with accurate postcodes . As what3words works anywhere on the planet it is an ideal way of telling us where your delivery address is and will even work if you have no address at all.

What3word addresses are unique, more precise than postcodes and to prevent mistakes, similar 3 word addresses are placed as far apart from each other as possible.
