Early June and the “Oxeyes” are out

Early June and the “Oxeyes” are out. Our first Oxeye Daisy has opened in our MeadowMat. It is a little late this year, normally it appears in May but it’s been a late Spring. We spotted the buds a couple of weeks ago. But they have simply refused to open up until the sun appeared in earnest. The Oxeye Daisy is a perennial commonly found in meadows and waste ground, railway banks and road verges.
