Milner Landscapes and Construction Ltd are currently carrying out the landscaping scheme on a new development in Burton on Trent. The development consists of over 800 houses, new public open space areas and other leisure facilities. Harrowden Turf have been vital in carrying out all areas of the project.

At the forefront of this was The Crescent. Over a period of 6 weeks, over 150 trees and circa 5,000m2 Harrowden turf were installed to form the new entrance for the Sales Complex.

As part of the huge regeneration project underway at Dracan Village there will be a series of new shops right on the doorstep. Furthermore, The Coopers Square shopping centre in the middle of town has many high street favourites as well as several local independent small shops. Back in the day Burton-upon-Trent was the home of British brewing. So, the National Brewing Centre museum is a fascinating day out. It has all manner of information about how the town was a major influence on the industrial revolution and the British Empire worldwide.

Moreover, Drakelow Nature Reserve is a mile away boasting birdlife, a nature trail and an education centre.

The A38 expressway is just 3.1 miles from Dracan Village. It links to the M6 Toll road and the national motorway network. Central Birmingham is 28 miles away.

Burton-on-Trent railway station is 3.1 miles away, with trains reaching central Birmingham in just 23 minutes.

With a stunning collection of detached and semi-detached homes the village of Drakelow site boasts excellent local and national transport links.
