Hozelock Porous Soaker Hose
Hozelock’s Porous Soaker Hose is easy to use and one of the simplest ways to create a time saving watering system anywhere in the garden. It works by allowing water droplets to seep through its porous layers to deliver water directly through the soil to the plant roots, where it is needed the most.
This hose is porous along its entire length allowing water to release slowly and provide a deep soaking for the surrounding area. The internal dimensions are the same as the irrigation supply pipe (13mm), allowing you to use the same fittings and connectors as you’d use with other types of micro irrigation systems. This allows you to completely customise a system to meet your needs.
For targeted watering – the Hozelock porous hose is specifically designed for targeted watering of borders, hedges and vegetable gardens.
Prevents water wastage – the hose sits on the ground and gently drips water directly to the roots, reducing water wastage.
Flow regulation – a flow regulator is also provided, allowing you to regulate the volume of water delivered.
Versatile – the hose can be connected to the end of an existing hose or directly to the tap, depending on your garden layout. Multiple hoses can also be connected together to water larger areas.
The Soaker hose works best with a water pressure of about 8-10 psi. By adjusting the tap to apply the appropriate pressure ensures that the plants are watered evenly without damaging the hose.
Compatible with timers or programmers – for maximum convenience, the hose can also be used with a water controller to automate the watering process.

First, empty 1x 500g sachet into the empty feeder bowl, attach feeder to hose pipe and spread evenly over 100m². Finally, any unused lawn feed can be left in the feeder until the next application. Miracle-Gro® Water Soluble Lawn Food is based on soluble salts, which are hygroscopic and must be stored in a well-sealed container in a dry location. So, if the container is not properly sealed then moisture can be absorbed from the atmosphere resulting in the product becoming sticky. Damp product can be used as recommended without risk to plants to which it is applied.Hozelock Multi Spray Plus Gun

Mobilane Green Screen – Hedera hibernica (120cm W x 180cm H)
It is an evergreen climbing plant, growing to 20–30 m high where suitable surfaces (trees, cliffs, walls) are available, and also growing as ground cover where there are no vertical surfaces. It climbs by means of aerial rootlets which cling to the substrate.
The bark is first green, but soon after it becomes grey. Old branches are light grey with a finely furrowed bark. Buds are almost hidden by the leaf base, egg-shaped and bright green. Flowering occurs in September–October. The fruits are blue-black berries. The whole plant and the berries are slightly poisonous.
It can be troublesome in any garden, rapidly colonising hedges, trees and borders if not kept in check.
It requires consistently moist soil and can grow in any light environment from full sun to deep shade. Its natural habitat is forest or dense bush which is cool and cloud-covered for much of the year. It prefers well-drained or alkaline soils rich in nutrients and humus. In areas to which it has been introduced it may be a noxious weed or be invasive.
In the autumn its flowers are an important source of nectar for many insects, including the ivy bee Colletes hederae. The berries are a source of winter food for Common wood pigeons, thrushes, Common blackbirds and the Eurasian Blackcap. Some species of small bird use the niches it provides as nest sites.

Mobilane Green Screen – Hedera helix ‘Woerner’ (120cm W x 220cm H)
Mobilane's Hedera helix 'Woerner' Green Screen is a classic dark green ivy with large shiny leaves and prominent white veins. Especially vigorous and hardy, this variety of Ivy is one of the most frost resistant and weather tolerant.
The varieties of ivy used for green screens are less aggressive than the intrusive varieties often deemed a negative nuisance. The Hedera helix variety are not a self-attaching, slow growing and only need pruning once a year, regularly hydrated and fertilised to keep them looking their best.
